“I think she always stayed in the house because I think she still felt my father there, all our memories,” Savannah said.
She noted that Annie and Tommaso, “let [Nancy] have her space,” and added, it’s “even more excruciating for them and all they’ve been through.”
After spending weeks in Arizona with her family, Savannah admitted that returning to New York was a difficult decision for her.
“I looked out the window of the airplane and just thought, ‘Where are you?’ ” she said of her mom.
