Chapter 30 - The New Horizon

I rolled my chair up to the panoramic glass windows in my top-floor office.

Outside, the city was stirring under the brilliant morning sun.

The rushing streams of traffic.

The skyscrapers reaching powerfully upward.

The "New Footprints" project stood in the distance, prominent and proud.

Rose & Wren was at its absolute peak.

Julian pushed the door open, carrying two cups of hot coffee.

He stood beside me, looking out at the sprawling view.

"What does the boss want to conquer next today?" he asked with a smile.

I took a deep breath.

The air was crisp and completely free.

"Everything," I replied.

The war for survival had ended long ago.

The enemies had been buried under their own mistakes.

The past had been left behind closed doors.

Now, there were no more limits.

This sky.

This city.
